D’Plazzo Lazare Diamond® Gown The wedding gown design is by D’Plazzo Couture Designs and B.C. Clark Jewelers. This is the first time in history that wedding gown has been designed with real diamonds that can be removed and the bride will have diamond necklaces. This haute couture gown is embellished with two 20-inch platinum diamond necklace strands with 130 round Lazare Diamonds® in varying sizes, weighing more than 20 carats. This diamond-enhanced, couture gown is valued at $100,000.
D’Plazzo one-of-a-kind ball gown design, is made of the finest ivory silk,accompanied over a final layer of pleated silk chiffon swaged with 130 Lazare diamonds®. The bodice is platinum embroidered lace with a silk chiffon sash at the waist. The Lazare diamonds® will be an heirloom for future generations.
Lazare Diamonds® are known worldwide for their brilliance and ideal cut and have been featured in other attire on the Red Carpet and exclusive events by Lazare Kaplan International Inc. This is the first time for Lazare diamonds® to be featured on a wedding gown.
Mitchell Clark, vice-president of B.C. Clark Jewelers, said, ‘‘We are very excited to have apart in the design of this amazing one-of-a-kind gown. What better way to make a wedding gown even more perfect than to add diamonds, and not just any diamonds, but over 20 carats of diamonds cut by one of the most renowned diamond cutters in the world, Lazare Kaplan.”

D'Plazzo also designs bridesmaid’s gown, mother of the bride dress, or party dresses and accessories. We've just added designer brooches and cake jewelry. We work with Mishelle Handy Cakes on the cake jewelry.
At D'Plazzo it is very important to us to give back so we sponsor two non-profit organizations. A portion of the proceeds from each wedding gown sale will go to Hearts & Hands International, Inc. and Vine Life Ministries, Inc. Both of these non-profits help children, Vine Life helps local children who have been abused and Hearts and Hands is helping children in China, Africa and India. I've been friends with the Presidents of both of these organizations and I know that they give their money where they can make a difference in the lives of others. It is an honor to be able to give to these organizations.
